Advanced Track
Designed for people familiar with Adagio, the advanced sessions offer "deep dives" into specific Adagio modules. We’ll be looking at more advanced features and operations within Adagio Financial and Operational modules.

Process Improvement Track
This track is for individuals looking to improve organizational processes, MS Excel skills and more.

Introduction to Adagio

Are you brand new to Adagio? Just started working for a company that uses or consults on Adagio? We’ll use Adagio Ledger and Payables to demonstrate Adagio as a modular access, batch-oriented system with 6 character record coding schemes. We’ll show how the specific application of some common features during this period, and demonstrate how Adagio can be completely “driven” using the keyboard, so your hands aren’t constantly moving back and forth between your keyboard and mouse.
Introduction to GL

For users wanting to know basic functionality of Adagio Ledger, including batch management with its Archive Batch System, recurring entries and account reallocations. We’ll describe the fastest way to get data into the general ledger, and options available when batches are retrieved from the subledgers.
Going Paperless

Whether your organization has made a commitment to go paperless, or are just looking to reduce the volume of paper handled by the accounting department, Ward Blatch helps you plan a migration to paperless processing in your office, from someone who has made the transition in his own practice. Ward will discuss regulatory requirements and operational considerations of moving to a completely paperless accounting operation. He'll review tools that you can use to help ease the transition for your organization.

Introduction to AP

For users wanting to know basic functionality of Adagio Payables, from setting up Vendors and the options available to batch entry of Manual Checks, Invoices and Adjustments. The System Check Run will be reviewed and how to reverse a check using the Check Reconciliation function.
Adagio Advanced Reporting

How to use Crystal Reports to create custom management reports for your organization. You'll find out how to modify an existing Standard Report and replace it with your modifications. Find out how to place custom reports on the Adagio Reports Menu or on someone's desktop.
Adagio POS, Credit Card Payments & PCI Compliance

Credit Cards, Adagio & Point of Sale
Andrew Bates and North American Payment Solutions start off this session talking about credit card handling in Adagio 9.3A and the requirements of PCI-DSS compliance. We'll talk about the Self Assesment Questionaire (SAQ) and what's required to use NAPS as your payment processor. Andrew will discuss Softrak's experience in changing payment processors over the last 3 months.

Bob Wisener of Dakota Software has developed a POS application for an Adagio wholesale distribution client with a retail presence. The retail arm required credit card and bar coding functionality, with work order processing and integrations with Adagio Receivables and Inventory. Bob will discuss the business issues the client wanted addressed and the technology solution adopted to meet those needs. If you are interested in POS or Remote Order Entry applications linked to Adagio, this will be an important session for you at the conference.

Adagio Forms Designer

One of Adagio's great strengths is the ability to customize the information you print on the business forms you produce: Statements, Checks, Invoices, Credit Notes and Order Confirmations. A common Forms Designer is used in all the Adagio modules, and this session covers a few simple techniques that will make it easy for you to make basic changes to a form. Learn about Form Options and Section properties. See an easy way to align elements of a form, or separate them with lines and other graphical elements. Discover the "All Items" form as an easy way to discover the element you need to print.
Adagio Overview The Operational Suite Overview

The Company Profiles of Adagio Purchase Orders, Inventory and OrderEntry have many choices. We’ll review each and discuss the business reason for the choices you must make when you set up one of these modules. We’ll also cover Adagio SalesCQ and Adagio SalesAnalysis options during the hour.
