This hour covers some tips and tricks in using the Adagio Financial Reporter. We will not discuss any of the complex functionality that makes this tool so powerful (this is covered in the preconference training), but will talk about processes in designing statements and features in using completed statements.Set up account groups to quickly generate a new statement, and other View windows to assist in giving additional information or create departmental ranges or security.We’ll demonstrate how to add a column to an existing statement, or add an account to a range. Context sensitive menus allow adding new accounting or informational formulas. Use the SuperSpec to determine what the correct codes are to print the desired amounts. Format the amounts in various ways and use conditional row formatting to highlight or hide accounts with particular criteria.Find out how to lookup specific posted transaction details from drilling down on a cell and export the results to an Excel workbook.

Adagio for the “IT guy” or consultant, there will be no mention of debits or credits during this presentation. We’ll talk about the Adagio shortcuts, Security settings, Folder setup and file naming conventions. We’ll demonstrate the Adagio Data Dictionary Exporter and its uses. We discuss the differences between Hot Fixes, Service Packs, and Upgrades, and the steps you should take to install each. Backups and Data Integrity Checks, and DataCare Best Practices will help you protect the valuable asset that your accounting data represents. We'll review the new installation model using Adagio ODBC and SAP Crystal Reports 2013. Finally, we’ll have some discussions about strategies for troubleshooting a problem.

This session is a demonstration of the features made available with Adagio DocStore and the compatible Adagio programs, showing what is possible and what to be aware of. See how vendor invoices on paper can be scanned and associated with a transaction in Adagio, or drag an emailed vendor PDF to attach it. See the flow of transactions from the purchase order, receipt, vendor invoice and GL transaction, even when drilling down to details from a financial statement. Also attach PDFs directly to vendors.

Adagio OrderEntry, and soon Receivables and Invoices, also support similar DocStore functionality for customers.
