This 3 hour workshop is designed to get you started designing your own Financial Statement, either from scratch or by modifying an existing statement. No previous experience in designing financial statement is assumed, but a basic understanding of Excel will be a benefit. The workshop begins with a review of the Financial Reporter Toolbar, and the basic elements of a well-constructed statement. A thorough review of account ranges and the structure of basic statement formulas (GLAMT() and GLDESC()) will get you well on the way to creating your own operational statements. You'll see different ways of drilling down to the account transactions and how to set up a basic Statement Group. Finally, find out how to use the 60+ financial statement included with the Adagio sample data with your own organization's chart of accounts.
